I'm not too sure why this is difficult to understand.
There was no inclusive language 100 years ago in all societies. This has to develop and is especially difficult because new people are born every year and many do not get the highest education.
Moreover, you think it is insulting to you or anyone somewhere but there are many people who do not think that it is offensive. There are also many *removed* who use it and don't think it is offensive. Just like there are many disabled people who don't think using some words isn't offensive.

First of all, lots of major terminal emulators are GPU accelerated. Alacrity, kitty, and wezterm are a few examples. How would *you* deal with an 8gb log file? It’s instances like that where a GPU can help. It’s not for “cool effects” and riced out config files.
