I showed my wife the first episode of the show just so she understand the “is it safe?” joke I use with my friends time to time. She didn’t enjoy the show much but she liked that joke a lot 🤣

Yup. I’ve run across many fans of the Clerks animated series who cite the “is is safe” scene as one of their favorites without realizing that it’s not an original “joke”, but actually a reference.
