I’m in my 30s so I should be used to this by now, but this shit is getting so stressful guys. I have no savings, my checking account is drained every month with rent, and if there’s ever a serious emergency I have no safety net, I’m legitimately fucked. I’m one unplanned expense away from absolute ruin. Those in the same boat as me, how do you deal with this?
Maybe others have covered this topic. Maybe not but what was a big game changer for me was realizing I wasn’t “missing all the opportunities” I needed to create them.
If you have a skill or a service you can sell start doing that. If you don’t have one obtain one. There are lots of great trades you can take up in green energy and the money is good. Plus you’re helping the planet.
It’s taken to almost my 40’s to just start being comfortable. I have a decent job in green energy as I mentioned. I’m also developing an indie game and I started a YouTube channel. Again, trying to make my own opportunities to pull in additional income. I’ve also learned to trade stocks but that’s hit and miss for me 😅
