They dont really support normal mail clients so no, no alternative.
I would look on privacyguides.org
posteo.de, mailbox.org and others are also good
And dont forget about cock.li !

Yes it supports them on Desktop using the mail bridge. But unsure about Flatpak here. And none on mobile
